We are a group of friends who have hundreds of years of horse and industry experience between us, who are passionate about helping horses. We strive to protect horses in the area, and give sanctuary to all horses, ponies, and long ears, that are abused, abandoned or retired. Run by a board of directors, Running Free is a 501c3, and donations can be deducted from your taxes. We accept all types of donations from supplies for the horses, to donations that can be sold or auctioned off to purchase supplies. We will be collecting donations through Facebook, Paypal, and Go Fund Me. Our EIN# is 82-3128618. Thank you so very much for your consideration and donations!

ACTIVITIES
Rescuing abused and neglected horses
Meeting needs in our community and in the horse community-Our goal is to provide a home, feed, and loving care for abused and neglected horses that have abandoned or are in the kill pens. We will care for those horses here at the sanctuary. They have 50 acres to roam on and a barn for shelter. Within 2 years, we will expand with a dog rescue and kennel, and will be adding another horse barn. We are accepting volunteers from the community to help with the horses at this time. Donations are tax deductible.

Adopting abandoned and retired horses
With our organization’s mission always in mind, we strive to find new strategies for dealing with this challenge. Hundreds of thousands of horses are abandoned every year in the United States, after being used for a particular purpose and discarded as no longer useful. This is something that we take very seriously, and our team is working each and every day to make a positive impact for giving these horses a happy retirement. Contact us to learn more about our commitment to this cause.
Re homing the healthy horses
At Running Free Equine Sanctuary, we are dedicated to stepping up our efforts in addressing this issue. Getting horses ready to re home is by no means an easy feat, but we to will work share these beautiful animals if possible. Through cooperation and community empowerment we believe we can facilitate progress in this area. This way we can gather more funding through re homing for more needy cases. We are always striving to make a difference, and invite you to learn more and lend your support.

Winston Churchill
There is something about the outside of a horse that is good for the inside of a man.
